10 Day Protected FA Option
Per request, allow commissioners to set a protected free agent period of 10 days. Currently the option jump from 7 to 14 days.

Can somebody explain this? I though we always had flexibility on how long dropped players are unable to be picked up.

Hello, I am writing to tell you that I have started three fantasy football draft leagues so far for the 2012 season on RTSports!

FantasySportsVault.com will be the treasurer and prize awarding site for all five leagues below.

Here is a brief description of each league, if interested, email brian.harwood@insightbb.com today with which league or leagues you would be interested in!

1. The first league is a RTSports.com $150 buy-in DYNASTY DRAFT league that will draft in July. This 3rd round reversal league will have you keep 8 players off your roster each season. You can keep your players for as long as you want to keep them. Each season there will be an eight round rookie/free agent draft to keep the DYNASTY draft going. 12 teams will be in this exciting league, only hardcore players apply, if interested, email brian.harwood@insightbb.com today!

2. The second league is a RTSports.com $150 buy-in 12-team VICTORY POINTS STYLE draft league. This is a new innovation in fantasy football in which you get points, not wins for a good performance each week. You still play head-to-head versus your opponent, if you win your matchup you get TWO points, and you can earn up to TWO more points each week if your team finishes in the top four in total points each week. This league is a hybrid of wins and total points importance, if your opponent has the most points scored in a week, no problem as you can still earn VICTORY POINTS based on weekly points performance. 3. The third league is a RTSports.com $100 buy-in 12-team "DRAFT MASTERS" league. In this league you simply draft 25 players and may your best scoring positional players score points in this total points style contest. Think of it as a "BEST BALL" type format in which drafting a great team is rewarded over head-to-head wins. Regular scoring rules apply and your top QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF scoring performers will count for your roster each week. 32 team start up IDP Dynasty league with 29 openings

If you consider yourself a hard core fantasy football fanatic like me, this may be the league for you. I'm starting up a 32 team dynasty league that will start drafting in a couple weeks.
It's an IDP/PPR league and has 53 roster spots (21 starters/ 32 bench spots). All monies will be held by leaguesafe.com with no chance of fraud.
In order to allow for 32 teams yet 53 players and a normal level of starters, there are two copies of each NFL player in the league although you can only own one copy of the player at any time. This adds many extra trading opportunities, strategy around drafts and an increased chance of rostering your favorite players.
Large prize pools with 100% payouts less MFL league fees of $70/yr approx.
Designed to last for the long haul with league parity in mind to re-balance each year so the league stays competitive.
Extra compensatory rookie draft picks, holdover of 25% of prize money years 1-4 in order to have double prizes (Super Pool Concept) every 5 years.

12 hour window works well with teams on west coast and even Europe. Had 2 European team this year join, which is pretty cool. All funds are kept in Leaguesafe.com

As for next year, I let each league vote on a way to keep everyone into it. Most Leagues ask for Half $ for next season by thanksgiving. Something along those lines. I let the league decide.

In a dynasty league, I'd rather have Cam Newton and the #6 pick instead of the #1 pick and any of your QBs IF you think you can get Doug Martin with that pick. If Martin will be gone by #6, then I would stick with what you have.

Openings for $200 fantasy football live event in Kentucky

Owners needed for the fantasy football live event called the Southern Bluegrass Fantasy Football Championship (SBFFC), and we will have 72 teams, maybe 84 teams in our live draft events in Bowling Green, KY (1.5 hours south of Louisville, KY, 1 hour north of Nashville, TN) on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Corvette Museum. There will be 6 divisions/drafts of 12 teams each drafting at the same time, winners from each draft league will come together in the total points championship round to declare the champion of the SBFFC!

Buy-in for a franchise is $200, $225 if you have a co-owner. You can do a "survival" total points contest for $25 a piece to gain further prizes.

Here are just some of the offerings the Southern Bluegrass Fantasy Football Championship is offering this season:

Hope to plan a draft as soon as League fills And all teams are Paid.

I ACT AS Commissioner Only, I do not part take in any of these leagues. I am sick of hearing about people getting ripped off by these scumbags on these forums. Plus, I believe it keeps all 12 teams on a even playing field. An acting Commish who also plays in the league, can persuade voters to vote a certain way. Plus this helps spread the word of my TOUCHDOWN POOL @ tdkings.com ( Its piece of mind for new players that don't know each other $3 per team)

Draft order will be determined by a draft order generator.
You will be emailed by website of your Draft position.

Draft will be a Live draft with 12hour window for picks to be made,
great option for our West Coast friends.

League Fee's are $50 per Team and Funds are thru LeagueSafe
4. League Structure

The FFFL will consist of FOUR divisions (North, South, East & West) with 3 teams each. Divisions will remain intact from the inception of the league unless otherwise voted on by the owners. The system used to originate initial divisions will be:

North: Teams drafting - 1, 5, 9
South: Teams drafting - 2, 6, 10
East: Teams drafting - 3, 7, 11
West: Teams Drafting - 4, 8, 12

11. Competitiveness (The Don Rule)

Participants are expected to run their franchises in a professional manner throughout the entirety of the Fantasy season. By not doing so, you could indirectly impact other franchises based on your actions. As such, any infractions of this league clause will be penalized as follows:

1st Strike: Official warning.

2nd Strike: 2 week ban on Transactions.

3rd Strike: Say ByeBye....Your Out of the League.

Each roster will consist of 20 Players:
Carrying 16 players during offseason

Each year having a 4round Rookie/Free Agent Draft.

Each Starting Lineup much consist of 8 Players:
Types of offenses you can run:
#1 - 1 QB, 2 RB'S, 2 WR'S, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
#2 - 1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WR'S, 1TE, 1K, 1 DEF
#3 - 1 QB, 3 RB'S, 1 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
#4 - 1 QB, 1RB, 2WR'S, 2 TE'S, 1 K, 1 DEF
#5 - 1QB, 2RB'S, 1WR, 2TE'S, 1K, 1DEF

PAYOUTS - fund are kept in leaguesafe

-$100 WEBSITE FEE & COMMISH FEE ($3 PER TEAM)
1ST PLACE = $300
RUNNER-UP = $125
