It would also be nice to have an option to "Keep players acquired on a roster for X hours." I would like to make acquired players undroppable somehow.

We have an anti-block rule. Say for example, your Def has a bye. Another team can come in during the free-for-all and add/drop every Def, protecting them until the next FFL week, and leaving the team without a Def.

Any players dropped are not available in our league until the following week. I know a work around is to make player available immediately, but this creats more problems, i.e. team trading after the deadline. It also doesn't give teams an equal chance at a player.

Every week I have to check and make sure teams aren't "blocking".

Ultimately, the team that puts themselves in this spot isn't that smart, but some guys do it anyway, and know they will be protected. The only way to block in our league is to retain all the players you pick up. So if you want to drop 5 players for 5 Defs, you can. Which I don't have as much of a problem with.

The commissioner can go in and unprotect the players if they see that happen. We don't allow more than 3 pickups per week. Personally, if I saw that in my leagues I would warn them once and if they did it again there would be some sort of penalty, such as lose of points or a lose for the week. Plus I can guarantee they would not be in the league after the season. I would not tolerate such behavior, it is immature and poor sportsmanship.

how about a live onlive chat option with your league memebers.. if possible.

True, this is available but the current system is not ideal. There is another fantasy site out there that just started to go down the right path with this (I think it is yahoo). When you log in there is a screen where you can chat with everybody that is currently on the site (similar to rtsports draft). This would be huge if this was always available. Communication is huge in fantasy as it increase the number of trades, trash talk, etc. If you wanted a private chat you could double click on the persons name and another screen appears. I always see that many other people are online at the same time I am but they never go to the chat function. And by the time I make a post for them to go to chat it is usually too late. If I could post something in a chat window and they could immediately see it..... well....... that would be sweet!

For a commissioner league a chat option would be awesome. In RTS money leagues I am kind of unsure if I want take the time to chat with strangers. Yet I would definitely want chat for commissioner leagues.

All valid points. That said, it'd be nice to have the site do it for me.

add a real time chat that is active in the game cast area so you can see who else is on and converse with them easily.

Give a preview prior to the start of the game like fox and nfl have.

If this was mentioned then I don't see it. I would like to see an option to limit the number of trades an owner can accept or propose/have accepted each week.
